Made slowly, so it stays.

The Jerusalem Set is a collection of four hand-embroidered cotton napkins inspired by symbols woven throughout Jewish life and tradition. Featuring individually embroidered motifs of a Torah scroll, tallit, dove, and Ahava design, every motif began as an original illustration hand-drawn by Shifra before being stitched entirely by hand, one piece at a time.

Available in Crisp White or Natural Oat, the Jerusalem Set was designed to feel timeless, meaningful, and quietly at home around the table — equally suited for Shabbat dinners, holiday gatherings, and the ordinary evenings that become cherished memories over time.

Every napkin is embroidered by hand, resulting in subtle variations in stitching and texture that cannot be replicated by machines. These variations are part of what make each set unmistakably handmade.

The result is a collection that feels personal, intentional, and meant to last.

Please note:

To preserve the character and quality of our work, Core Collection linens are sourced in small batches and embroidered to order. Slight variations in tone, weave, texture, and shade may occur between production runs, particularly within Natural Oat linens. These variations are a natural characteristic of small-batch textiles and are not considered defects.

Unless otherwise requested and approved prior to purchase, the Jerusalem napkin set is embroidered in navy thread. If you are interested in an alternate thread color, please contact us before placing your order to confirm availability and accommodation. Orders placed without prior approval for custom thread colors will be completed as pictured.

Subtle variations and natural texture are part of the handmade nature and charm of each Echad piece.

Materials + Care

To help preserve the integrity of your Echad linens and embroidery for years to come, we recommend washing in cold water on a gentle cycle and air drying when possible. Warm ironing or steaming may be used as needed.

Due to the handmade nature of each piece, slight softening and natural variation over time is to be expected and part of the beauty of heirloom textiles.

Shipping + Returns

Please allow 1–3 weeks for shipment unless otherwise noted.

Each Echad piece is embroidered slowly and specifically for you. Because of this, all sales are final.

Small Batch Availability

Every Echad piece is embroidered entirely by hand and released in intentionally limited quantities. Inventory is replenished regularly as new pieces are completed within our atelier, ensuring every order receives the time and attention it deserves.

Unlike mass-produced apparel and home goods, availability may fluctuate as pieces sell through and new inventory is added.
If you require a quantity greater than what is currently available, please contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Thank you for supporting slow craftsmanship and the preservation of traditional handwork.

Frequently asked questions

How should I care for my embroidered piece?

Because each Echad piece is embroidered by hand, we recommend treating it with gentle care. Hand wash or machine wash cold on a delicate cycle with mild detergent, then lay flat or hang to dry. If needed, iron on low heat from the reverse side.

Natural variations and soft wear over time are considered part of the character of the piece — heirlooms are meant to be lived with, loved, and passed down.

When will I get my order?

Shipping timelines vary depending on the collection ordered.

Our Core Collection pieces are made to order and typically ship within 1–3 weeks. Because each item is embroidered by hand, timelines may occasionally be extended slightly during holidays or periods of high volume. Please note that processing times do not include Shabbat or Jewish holidays.

Bespoke Sets are fully completed and ready to ship, and will typically be sent within 3–5 business days.

We believe meaningful things are worth making slowly, and we deeply appreciate your patience while each piece is prepared with care. You’ll receive tracking information as soon as your order is on its way.

Is each piece really hand embroidered?

Yes. Every Echad piece is embroidered individually by hand.

Because of this, slight variations in stitching, spacing, and texture are not considered imperfections, but part of the character and individuality of handmade work. No two pieces will ever be completely identical.

We believe the human hand should still be visible in the things meant to last.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Because each Echad piece is handcrafted specifically for you, we do not accept returns or offer refunds.

Eligible full-price items may be exchanged for store credit if returned unworn, unwashed, with original tags and packaging, and requested within 10 calendar days of delivery. Please note that all bespoke and custom pieces are final sale.

If your order arrives damaged or with an embroidery defect, please contact us within 5 calendar days of delivery and we will make it right.

What is the Khava heart?

Each Echad piece includes a small hand-stitched signature heart known as the Khava Heart.

The heart is named in memory of Khava Piletzki, a 36-year-old Jewish seamstress from Białystok, Poland who was murdered in the Holocaust. Her story became part of the inspiration behind Echad and serves as a reminder that even after unimaginable loss, there are still threads that connect us across generations.

Every Khava Heart is stitched by hand as a quiet tribute to continuity, remembrance, and the enduring soul of the Jewish people.

Are Bespoke Sets ever recreated?

No. Each Bespoke Set is released as a fully completed one-of-one collection and will never be recreated exactly as originally made.

Variations in linen, thread, trim, motif, and stitching are embraced as part of the individuality of each set. Once a Bespoke Set has found its home, it exists only as it was originally created.

No duplicates. No exact reproductions.

Do you offer custom embroidery?

Yes. Echad offers custom embroidery on select pieces, including sweaters and oxford shirts.

Whether you’re commemorating a meaningful phrase, honoring a loved one, marking a milestone, or creating a future heirloom, each custom piece is embroidered individually by hand and created in close consideration with your request.

Because every custom order is made specifically for you, all custom pieces are final sale.
